Description:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with a proven track record of infrastructure solution design. Candidates with Valid SC Clearance will hold a higher priority than those without.
The Technical Architect is responsible for designing, incorporating design principals and following Methodology. Performance, Availability, Capacity, Scalability, Extensibility and Security criteria for the Infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities
The construction of technical documentation including but not limited to high level and low level design documents, build artefacts and work instructions
The presentation of high quality technical documentation to a diverse audience of technical and non-technical audiences
Working in accordance with programme standards for documentation

Exceptional written and verbal English language and communication skills
Ability to structure and present technical documentation for technical and non-technical audiences, including textual, graphical and diagrammatic representations
Ability to assimilate many stakeholders requirements and produce simple, coherent solutions to their documentation needs

Reporting and stakeholder management
Effective co-ordination skills able to prioritise and execute competing activities
Good communication skills ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and information to technical and non-technical personnel both internally and externally
Good interpersonal skills ability to liaise with personnel at all levels and adapt style accordingly. Ability to work within a high pressure, diverse team environment essential.
Planning and Organisation: - applies a resourceful, structured and methodical approach to work, using time management skills and prioritising a complex workload, able to work on own initiative as well as to assigned tasks
PRINCE2 / MSP qualification or knowledge of processes
Ability to make effective use of information technology
Commercial, contractual and all-round business awareness
Must have current security clearance to SC Level
Skills:
Proven Technical Architecture experience in an Enterprise environment
Essential current / valid SC Security clearance
Structured Project Management experience
